Sophia Deterala is a qualitative researcher, published academic, and the founder of SDRC, a Research Consulting entity registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She holds a PhD from a UK university (Vice Chancellor's Scholar), an MRes with Distinction (Roscoe International Scholar), and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She has published in Springer, SAGE, and Taylor & Francis, and serves as an Associate Editor for an international journal. She has contributed to research funded by the Spencer Foundation and the Ministry of Education Singapore. She created Publish for Life to address the specific structural barriers that prevent capable researchers from publishing in indexed journals.
